What you will do

• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of data infrastructure and analytical tools.
• Lead and oversee software and infrastructure delivery with a focus on high-quality execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.
• Support engineers and product owners through regular 1:1s and career development.
• Plan and coordinate engineering work to ensure realistic commitments and transparent delivery.
• Monitor team performance and drive mitigation of risks while tracking product success metrics.

Requirements

• Degree in software engineering, computer science, data science, or similar.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, or backend development.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams, including technical mentorship and performance management.
• Strong expertise in designing and scaling data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and storage systems.
• Experience with front- and backend development related to data products or internal tools.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with aerospace ground systems, telemetry data, or mission-control analytics.
• Expertise with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or distributed systems.
