Location: Hybrid (London, UK) — 2 days per week in office

What you will do

• Own the design, prototyping, and implementation of progression, economy, and engagement features.
• Define and analyze KPIs, feature data, and player behavior to improve retention and boost engagement.
• Develop and balance complex in-game economies across various metagame features.
• Collaborate with art, UX, engineering, and product management to implement the creative vision.
• Document and communicate feature concepts to ensure alignment across development teams.
• Iterate on live features based on player feedback and data analysis.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Metagame, Progression, or Engagement Design in the video game industry.
• At least one shipped title in a design role for a live service game.
• Experience designing and implementing economy or progression features for live titles.
• Knowledge of KPI analysis and player behavior data.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine.
• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK (Hybrid)

Nice to have

• Background in mobile games with an understanding of mobile player behavior and market leaders.
• Experience with visual scripting or rapid prototyping tools.
• Deep passion for action games.
