Location: Hybrid in London, UK (2 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Own the design, prototyping, and implementation of progression, economy, and engagement features.
• Define, analyze, and take action on analytics, feature data, and KPIs to boost engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including art, animation, audio, UX, and engineering.
• Develop and balance in-game economies across various metagame features.
• Identify and resolve metagame issues and retention barriers using player data and feedback.
• Document and communicate feature concepts to ensure alignment across development teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Metagame, Progression, or Engagement Design in the video game industry.
• At least one shipped live service title in a design role.
• Experience implementing progression or economy features for live games.
• Knowledge of analyzing KPIs and player behavior data.
• Familiarity with the Unreal game engine.
• Must be able to work from the London office 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Background in mobile games with knowledge of market leaders and player behavior.
• Experience with visual scripting or rapid prototyping tools.
• Deep passion for action games and crafting long-term player motivation.
