TL;DR
IT Analyst II (Manufacturing Applications): Supporting and implementing business-critical manufacturing application systems with an accent on SAP ME and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure. Focus on troubleshooting complex system integrations, driving digital transformation projects, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance in production environments.
Location: On-site presence is required five days a week in Desford, United Kingdom
Salary: Gross £41,593 - £50,000

What you will do
- Support and administer manufacturing applications and shopfloor technologies, specifically SAP ME.
- Manage Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, including industrial PCs, scanners, and network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, infrastructure, and integration issues.
- Lead technical deployments, upgrades, and migrations for digital transformation projects.
- Develop technical documentation, support procedures, and operational readiness activities.
- Collaborate with central IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure network segmentation and compliance.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience supporting manufacturing systems within a production environment.
- Proficiency in gathering requirements and documenting technical solutions.
- Knowledge of system testing methodologies and application support processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or industrial connectivity.
- Exposure to SQL, APIs, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft technologies, or Power BI.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or software deployment.
