What you will do

• Design and develop software for test and simulation frameworks (TSF) using C++ or Java.
• Create and maintain Graphical User Interface (GUI) elements for TSF.
• Implement and execute unit tests and perform code reviews.
• Contribute to virtual engineering tasks involving mixed simulations and real hardware.
• Provide 2nd level support for test support systems like AIDASS, MaTE, and SI².
• Support software teams with technical concepts and continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT or Information Systems.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
• Must be a citizen of an EU member state or eligible for a German work permit.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and ADA or Java.
• Foundational knowledge in software design, patterns, architecture, and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with frameworks such as Qt, MFC, or Eclipse RCP.
• Knowledge of OSGi and model-driven development.
• Familiarity with avionic protocols like ARINC 429, TCP, UDP, or HTTP.
• Proficiency in Python.
