What you will do

• Design and optimize EDA database infrastructure, including data-model enhancements and API definitions.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported defects with clear root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with application engineering teams to profile and improve database performance.
• Reduce memory footprint to support large-scale IC designs.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design reviews.
• Write clean, well-tested code following established engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and modern C++ standards.
• Experience working in UNIX or Linux development environments.
• Understanding of IC design data models and database architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tcl scripting in an EDA context.
• Familiarity with Verilog Hardware Description Language.
• Knowledge of IEEE 1801 Power Format (UPF).
• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
