Junior .NET Engineer

TL;DR

Junior .NET Engineer (Backend): Developing and maintaining core eCommerce and journey search functionality for a high-traffic travel platform with an accent on .NET development, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability. Focus on taking ownership of the full development lifecycle, contributing to technical decisions, and ensuring high-quality code delivery in an agile environment.

Location: Must be based in London (Hybrid: 60% office attendance required).

What you will do

• Deliver new features and functionality using modern .NET tools and techniques.
• Take full ownership of the development lifecycle from initial code to production deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute significantly to technical decision-making within the team.
• Identify and remove blockers, time sinks, and technical waste.
• Ensure high code quality and maintainability across the platform.
• Prioritize customer needs in every development task.

Requirements

• Must be based in London and able to work from the office at least 60% of the time.
• Foundational knowledge of .NET development.
• Understanding of version control systems and Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Proactive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.
• Passion for learning new technologies and growing as an engineer.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#, React, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, or Ruby.
• Working knowledge of Git and Unit Testing.
• Experience or understanding of AWS or similar cloud technologies.
