TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Veghel, Netherlands) - must work from the office at least four days a week

A family-owned global automotive marketplace specializing in the purchase and sale of trucks, machinery, and commercial vehicles.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable software from technical design through to production operation.
- Translate product ambitions and technical risks into concrete architectural choices and solutions.
- Implement and maintain standards for testing, security, observability, and CI/CD.
- Mentor junior and medior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
- Lead the investigation of complex incidents and implement structural improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Validate solution directions through prototyping to ensure the right product is built at scale.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Software Engineer independently solving complex technical challenges.
- Must be ed in or able to work from the Veghel office at least four days a week.
- Proficiency in modern backend technologies, specifically PHP and Laravel.
- Experience with cloud-native development, preferably on AWS.
- Knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Ability to substantiate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI and modern engineering tools.
