What you will do

• Lead the implementation of AI-based reconciliation tools and automated workflows across cash, intercompany, AR, and treasury operations.
• Serve as the primary accounting authority for product-related fund flows, payment clearing, FX revaluation, and intercompany rebalancing.
• Design and maintain a structured governance framework for accounting decisions on commercial arrangements, ensuring alignment with US GAAP.
• Manage the reconciliation and financial operations team to achieve T+3 close standards and reduce open breaks.
• Lead the design and build-out of a scalable cost engine to support cost accruals and reconciliation in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
• Partner early with Product, Engineering, and Legal on new launches to ensure finance, controls, and regulatory requirements are integrated.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Deep expertise in payment product accounting, including clearing, settlement, FX revaluation, and revenue recognition.
• Proven experience as a people manager capable of developing teams of managers and individual contributors.
• Technical aptitude with a builder’s mindset; comfort with data concepts, SQL, or scripting is a plus.
• Must be based in Singapore
