Electrical System Integration Engineer (Industrial)

TL;DR

Electrical System Integration Engineer (Industrial Engineering): Designing and developing machine electrical and control systems for WBT equipment with an accent on system architecture, 3D/2D CAD modeling, and harness routing. Focus on integrating complex electronic components, optimizing manufacturability, and providing technical support for factory production and validation.

Location: Onsite in Qingdao, China (5 days a week)

What you will do

• Develop electrical system architectures and create detailed schematics based on customer and functional requirements.
• Create and optimize 3D models for component placement and control harness routing to meet design specifications.
• Generate 2D engineering drawings and collaborate with procurement teams for supplier communication and development.
• Participate in the full product development cycle, including concept design, design reviews, machine validation, and field tests.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing facilities to resolve electrical system issues during production and testing.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement for electrical system components.

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3D CAD systems, preferably Creo or Pro/E.
• Deep knowledge of machine electrical and electronic (E&E) architectures, control systems, and mechatronics.
• Experience in product design for manufacturing (DFM) and vehicle engineering.
• English: B2 level proficiency required for collaboration with global teams.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Qingdao, China, on a 5-day-a-week schedule.
