What you will do

• Monitor and communicate the financial performance of employee benefits plans for various clients.
• Calculate renewal projections, premium equivalent rates, and actuarial valuations.
• Conduct financial analysis of benefits marketings and evaluate Results for Proposals (RFPs).
• Provide clients with comprehensive financial performance reports and cost-effectiveness recommendations.
• Mentor and train junior staff members to ensure team growth and quality.
• Analyze industry benchmarks to help clients maintain competitiveness in the market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Life & Health License required.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of benefits underwriting concepts and insurance carrier claims experience.
• Must be based in or able to work from Orlando or Tampa, FL.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CEBS certification.
• Prior experience in the insurance industry.
