What you will do

• Lead end-to-end forward deployed engagements from technical scoping to production deployment.
• Serve as the primary technical anchor and escalation point for the hardest Kubernetes and platform problems in the US-East and EMEA regions.
• Design and implement improvements to platform deployment on Kubernetes and contribute changes back upstream.
• Define reusable reference architectures and deployment patterns for the global engagement team.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and pairing to elevate the overall technical bar.
• Channel field insights and regional regulatory needs into the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster architecture, networking, storage, RBAC, Go controllers, Helm, and GitOps (Flux or ArgoCD).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to write well-structured production code.
• Proven experience as a senior or lead engineer in enterprise customer-facing engagements.
• Strong observability skills using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or Grafana.
• Must be based in North America (strong preference for US Eastern Time).
• Experience building or running MCP servers or AI agent tooling.
