What you will do

• Lead strategic, cross-organizational mobile workstreams to connect Square and Cash App ecosystems.
• Guide the architecture of mobile systems connecting customer discovery in Cash App with seller ordering and fulfillment in Square.
• Stay hands-on in iOS development using SwiftUI, Workflow, and related technologies.
• Partner with backend, web, and Android engineers to ensure high quality and craft.
• Scale practical AI-assisted workflows for prototyping, implementation, and debugging.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards across partner teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant experience with iOS engineering design and implementation.
• Deep expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience guiding iOS architecture (unidirectional data flow, declarative UI) with organizational impact.
• Proven track record of leading complex mobile product or platform initiatives from framing to delivery.
• Must be based in the United States (implied by US salary zone requirements).

Nice to have

• Experience with Protocol Buffers and Bazel build environment.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Goose.
