TL;DR
iOS Engineer (Swift/Financial Applications): Building and shipping native iOS features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys with an accent on clean UX, performance, reliability, and secure financial workflows. Focus on integrating APIs and authentication, debugging production issues, improving app quality, and taking mobile features from concept to release.

Location: Remote for candidates already based in Taiwan; the posting also lists a hybrid location type in Taipei.

What you will do

  • Build and ship native iOS features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
  • Design complex financial flows that feel clean, fast, and simple on mobile.
  • Work with product, design, backend, and AI engineers from initial concept through production release.
  • Own app quality, including performance, crash rate, loading states, edge cases, responsiveness, and release stability.
  • Use production feedback, analytics, and customer behavior to improve features after launch.
  • Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling, and financial workflows with a focus on reliability.

Requirements

  • Strong native iOS experience using Swift.
  • Experience shipping iOS applications used by real customers.
  • Good understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, and iOS architecture patterns.
  • Strong product sense and attention to user experience beyond screen implementation.
  • Ability to debug production issues and improve performance, reliability, and app quality.
  • Must already be based in Taiwan. Strong English communication is required.

Nice to have

  • Personal contribution to building, shipping, or scaling a serious product, platform, or system.
  • Experience working effectively with ambiguity and moving quickly without reducing quality.
