Research Assistant Level III (Human Factors)

TL;DR

Research Assistant Level III (Human Factors): Conducting exhaustive literature reviews and analyzing human factors data to support federal and commercial research initiatives with an accent on quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Focus on evaluating human factors workload assessments and documenting results from flight simulator beta testing.

What you will do

• Conduct exhaustive literature searches and reviews of regulations, guidance, and policy.
• Analyze human factors data, processes, and criteria using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Develop and administer survey questionnaires using professional software such as Qualtrics.
• Utilize statistical software like SPSS and/or R to analyze data and collate results.
• Provide real-time note-taking and data collection support during flight simulator beta testing.
• Draft and structure technical reports and formal documentation through academic writing and technical editing.

Requirements

• Master's degree and 5+ years of experience conducting exhaustive reviews of regulations, guidance, or policy.
• Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Qualtrics, SPSS, and/or R.
• Extensive experience in academic writing, technical editing, and formal document formatting.
• Ability to obtain customer clearance for access to facilities and equipment.
