What you will do
- Build and deploy ML models for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, demand forecasting, and root cause analysis.
- Develop scalable cloud data pipelines for high-volume manufacturing and IoT data using Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and Delta Lake.
- Bridge OT/IT systems for real-time data extraction using industrial protocols like OPC-UA, MQTT, and Modbus.
- Apply OEE, Six Sigma, SPC, and lean methodologies to drive measurable gains in yield, uptime, and efficiency.
- Design A/B experiments and simulations to validate process changes and quantify business impact before full deployment.
- Translate complex model outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for operations and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with medallion/lakehouse architectures on Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
- Proven track record of building and deploying ML models in industrial environments.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Grand Prairie, Texas (4 days per week).
Nice to have
- 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing with knowledge of shop floor operations, production planning, MES, SCADA, and ERP.
- Proficiency in scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Solid grounding in statistical methods including time series, regression, clustering, and hypothesis testing.
