What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
• Translate business and customer requirements into technical software solutions.
• Develop clean, testable code and participate in architecture and code reviews.
• Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize data science tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and support CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize system performance.

Requirements

• Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with software design principles and Agile development.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Columbia, Maryland

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, or messaging systems.
• Background in mission-critical or distributed systems.
