What you will do

• Write functional and design specifications for features related to traffic forwarding in cloud data centers.
• Implement solutions in C, C++, and Python for EOS software components.
• Develop and execute automated test programs to ensure software quality and performance.
• Debug complex routing protocol issues and provide patches for customer networks.
• Collaborate with system test engineers and marketing teams to define project requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design reviews.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• 6-8+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong understanding of UNIX or Linux environments.
• Experience with L2/L3 networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, or Ethernet bridging.
• Ability to design and implement solutions for distributed systems with limited oversight.
