Manager, Patient Advocacy, Global Rare Diseases

Location: Hybrid position in Boston, Massachusetts, United States; up to 35% domestic and international travel required.

Annual base pay: $140,000–$160,000, with potential overtime pay for qualifying non-exempt employees.

What you will do

• Contribute to the global rare disease patient advocacy strategy.
• Develop and implement patient engagement plans for US and Canadian communities and share programs with LATAM partners.
• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with patient advocacy organizations and other stakeholders.
• Design and implement educational programs, advisory boards, patient speaker initiatives, clinical trial awareness activities, and policy advocacy programs.
• Represent the patient perspective in internal strategy and decision-making processes.
• Ensure stakeholder engagements comply with legal, regulatory, compliance, and disclosure requirements.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a biopharmaceutical environment, including at least 1 year in rare disease and patient advocacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in social science, public health, science, or a related field.
• Strong communication, networking, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of drug research and development, regulatory, compliance, and disclosure guidelines.
• Strong project and program management skills.
