Litigation Paralegal (Insurance Defense)

Location: Hybrid in Las Vegas, NV

Salary: $36-46/hour

What you will do

• Assist attorneys with propounding and responding to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for admissions, and subpoenas.
• Manage full-cycle trial preparation, including witness coordination, trial exhibits, and trial notebooks.
• Independently obtain, review, and organize medical records and calculate damages for medical expenses and lost wages.
• Draft and proofread legal documents and prepare binders for depositions and hearings.
• Maintain routine communications with clients, experts, and attorneys regarding case status.

Requirements

• Paralegal certification.
• 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Experience with litigation in the state of Nevada is required.
• Insurance Defense experience required.
• High proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Solid understanding of state and federal civil litigation deadlines and rules.
