What you will do
- Own the localization strategy, quality bar, and final sign-off for all Polish content.
- Develop and enforce glossaries, style guides, and cultural content policies.
- Lead voiceover casting, script review, and direct creative sessions.
- Act as the primary advisor for cultural risk mitigation and regional sensitivities.
- Collaborate with LQA, production, and marketing to resolve linguistic bugs and ensure brand alignment.
- Supervise and provide feedback to junior linguists and external vendors.
Requirements
- Native fluency in Polish with mastery of tone and regional nuance.
- Advanced English fluency (C1+) required for global team collaboration.
- Professional localization experience in games, tech, or entertainment.
- Deep understanding of the Polish gaming landscape and pop culture.
- Strong knowledge of localization tools like CAT tools, JIRA, and CMS.
- Must be able to work onsite in Madrid, Spain.
Nice to have
- Experience with VO scripting, dubbing production, and linguistic performance direction.
- Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
