What you will do
- Create daily social content, including reels, stories, and carousels, for multiplatform distribution.
- Identify compelling video sources and support reporters in the creation of original vertical videos.
- Curate YouTube channels and develop video series for OTT and FAST platforms.
- Produce content for linear and broadcast platforms, involving scriptwriting and video editing.
- Translate content between English and Spanish to ensure reach across diverse audiences.
- Coordinate and monitor the streaming of live events and newscasts on digital platforms.
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Minimum 2 years of multimedia experience at a major news organization.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and other professional video editing programs.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Miramar, FL.
- Ability to work a flexible 24/7 shift, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations (e.g., hurricanes).
Nice to have
- Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
- Knowledge of Wordpress, SocialFlow, CrowdTangle, and WildMoka.
- Experience with videography and conducting field shoots.
