Location: Rostock, Germany (office-based with up to 8 days of mobile work per month)

What you will do

• Independently develop mechanical tower components as Component Responsible Engineer
• Design and dimension steel, aluminium, sheet metal, and welded structures using analytical and numerical methods
• Take technical responsibility for safety-relevant components such as ladder systems, fall arrest, service lifts, and climb assist
• Create requirements, product specifications, development documentation, and technical reports
• Perform CAD modeling and drawing creation in NX Unigraphics and maintain product data in Teamcenter
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary project teams with purchasing, quality, service, and assembly
• Review development results from internal/external engineers and handle quality topics

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or comparable, preferably focused on design or product development
• Several years of experience in mechanical component development, ideally in steel, plant, or tower construction
• Solid experience designing welded, steel, and sheet metal structures
• Experience with structured development processes and technical documentation
• Very good knowledge of NX Unigraphics and Teamcenter; Microsoft Project is a plus
• Very good English skills (written and spoken); German/Spanish a plus
• Self-reliant, structured working style and confident communication in teams
