What you will do
- Develop high-quality data pipelines for decision-making and sophisticated AI/ML applications.
- Design and deploy AI-enabled solutions on cloud platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Build production-grade pipelines using SQL and orchestration tools like dbt, Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
- Implement DataOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Adopt a Data Product mindset to ensure datasets are discoverable, trustworthy, and self-describing.
- Bridge the gap between technical engineering and business value to define robust product specifications.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Databricks (certifications highly preferred).
- Practical experience with SQL and task orchestration software.
- Hands-on experience architecting and deploying solutions on cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in DataOps (CI/CD, version control, IaC).
- Experience translating stakeholder needs into technical data product specifications.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model in Birmingham, UK.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake or MS Fabric.
