What you will do

• Perform hands-on data engineering, including pipeline development, transformation layers, and infrastructure design.
• Act as the primary technical authority in client meetings, shaping proposals and pitches.
• Define and evolve internal standards for data testing, documentation, and code review.
• Mentor and grow data engineers across the organization.
• Represent hirify.global at external data events and build the company's reputation in the data community.
• Collaborate with commercial and client services teams to win and guide new engagements.

Requirements

• Must be based in London and comfortable with regular travel to client sites.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and team management.
• Deep expertise in SQL, Python for data systems, and modern data architecture (dimensional, Data Vault, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD for data, data observability, and governance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate engineering constraints into business terms.
• Appetite to build a public presence in the data community.
