What you will do

• Assess and redesign multi-store reporting architectures for high-performance and scalability.
• Define data modeling strategies for complex analytical and reporting workloads.
• Design real-time and near real-time data pipelines using event-driven architectures.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies for large-scale data processing and unique count aggregations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement architectures and support migration activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on data quality and observability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Apache Druid and Kafka.
• Excellent knowledge of large-scale analytical data modeling and distributed systems.
• Experience with Apache Flink and streaming data pipelines.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Must be based in the EU and possess a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with ClickHouse and modern lakehouse architectures (e.g., Apache Iceberg).
• Knowledge of scalable unique-count solutions like HyperLogLog.
• Background in SaaS, martech, or customer engagement platforms.
• Proven experience in technical leadership and mentoring.
