What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications for Ring setup experiences.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
- Own features from conception through launch and deliver customer value iteratively.
- Investigate design approaches, prototype technologies, and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Implement maintainable code, documentation, unit tests, and integration tests.
- Collaborate with mobile, backend, cloud, and firmware teams to solve complex problems and improve software practices.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience excluding internships.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Android mobile application development experience with Kotlin.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
- Experience programming in a modern language such as Java, C++, or C# with object-oriented design.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
