Senior Software Engineer (Growth)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco

What you will do

• Architect and develop scalable microservices using Java/Kotlin to meet global user demands.
• Implement service-to-service communication, orchestration, and fault tolerance best practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists and PMs to design data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
• Build services supporting rapid A/B testing, feature toggles, and real-time performance monitoring.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in coordination with Frontend, Product, and Marketing teams.
• Ensure global regulatory compliance and integrate secure coding practices to protect user data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in modern engineering practices, CI, and quality engineering.
• Deep experience with high-throughput, low-latency, and high-availability distributed systems.
• Proficiency with GCP (preferred) or AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, Domain Driven Design (DDD), and event-driven architectures.
• Location: Must be based in San Francisco

Nice to have

• Experience with JVM-based programming in Java or Kotlin and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, customer segmentation, and analytics tools.
• Experience building internal or customer-facing products using AI and LLMs.
• Experience solving GTM (Go-To-Market) operations end-to-end.
