Junior Agentic Developer (AI)

What you will do

• Work on internal engineering tools and projects to improve overall technical health.
• Investigate and resolve software issues identified by the internal Enji Guard platform.
• Analyze unfamiliar codebases to understand existing technical constraints.
• Utilize AI coding agents to implement systemic improvements.
• Review, test, and refactor AI-generated code to ensure maintainability and reliability.
• Manage pull requests and collaborate with mentors through technical discussions and code reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ months of commercial software development experience or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) in substantial projects.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
• Working knowledge of Git, Linux, Docker, and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• English: B2-C1 level required.
• Russian: B2 level required.

• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying public projects.
• Proven track record of fixing bugs in unfamiliar codebases.
• Achievements in hackathons, bootcamps, or competitive programming.
• Experience building your own product, automation tool, or startup.
