What you will do

• Build and maintain security automation workflows and playbooks in SOAR platforms to streamline triage and response.
• Develop PowerShell and Python scripts for security enrichment, remediation, and forensic functions.
• Integrate SIEM queries and LLM APIs into automated workflow pipelines to enhance detection capabilities.
• Apply data parsing techniques using JSON and Regular Expressions for security data manipulation.
• Monitor and optimize automation performance to identify bottlenecks and ensure operational reliability.
• Maintain version control via Git and collaborate with SOC and engineering teams to improve analyst productivity.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in automation, scripting, or cybersecurity.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and working knowledge of Python for automation and API integration.
• Experience with SOAR or low-code/no-code workflow automation platforms.
• Hands-on experience with REST API integration, authentication methods, and response parsing.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or expression-based scripting logic.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with Falcon SOAR or LogScale (Humio).
• Knowledge of containerized environments such as Docker.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
