Software Engineer (SIL Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid from Kraków, Poland, with 3 days per week from the office

Salary: 900–1,200 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain a Software-in-the-Loop simulation environment for virtual validation of AUTOSAR-based embedded software.
• Develop and integrate virtual ECUs based on AUTOSAR architecture.
• Build interfaces between the SIL environment, plant models, communication buses, and test automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute simulation strategies.
• Optimize simulation performance and fidelity for large-scale system integration.
• Analyze and debug SIL infrastructure issues and document architecture, workflows, and usage guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of engineering experience in embedded systems, software development, or simulation.
• Proficiency in C for embedded software development and a solid understanding of embedded systems and AUTOSAR architecture.
• Experience with AUTOSAR artifacts such as ARXML, A2L, and NVM definitions.
• Experience with Git, build systems such as Make or CMake, and cross-compilation for host execution.
• Experience with SYNOPSYS Silver or a similar virtualization tool, plus familiarity with Simulink, plant modelling, or FMI/FMU-based simulation.
• Good English communication skills and familiarity with CAN, LIN, scripting or automation tools such as Python or Bash.

Nice to have

• Experience with signal-level CAN and LIN behavior, including Tx/Rx.
• Experience integrating simulation environments with test automation tools.
