Regular/Senior Software Engineer C, 5G L2 - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

Location: Wroclaw, Poland; flexible hybrid work model.

What you will do

• Design and implement features for next-generation 5G Radio/Baseband Unit technologies in the L2 domain.
• Maintain long-term product quality, architecture, and code structure.
• Debug network, user-space, and system issues on Linux platforms.
• Resolve software and hardware interoperability problems.
• Analyze logs, track bugs, and search for memory leaks.
• Build technical competence and coach colleagues.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience with 5G/4G L2 systems.
• Proven industry experience with C programming.
• Broad telecommunications knowledge and Linux programming experience.
• Experience with software design, documentation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Git, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Good English and availability for the hybrid role in Wroclaw, Poland.

• Experience with software build tools and software versioning.
