What you will do

• Own, run, and scale the internal orchestration platform (currently n8n) as production infrastructure with observability and error handling.
• Automate end-to-end Finance workflows, such as procure-to-pay and month-end closing, replacing manual data movement between systems.
• Design and ship reusable automation primitives and capabilities to enable scalable company-wide automation.
• Develop human-in-the-loop and autonomous AI agent workflows for complex cases where agents outperform deterministic flows.
• Collaborate with engineers owning underlying platforms like NetSuite, billing, and payments to orchestrate cross-system flows.

Requirements

• Experience building and running production automation using n8n, Temporal, Airflow, Prefect, or custom API-based solutions.
• Strong software engineering discipline, including version control, testing, and a focus on API contracts and idempotency.
• Practical experience building with AI agents, LLMs (e.g., Claude), and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Ability to analyze fragmented manual processes and translate them into technical system diagrams and workflows.
• High agency and a builder mindset, capable of identifying broken processes and shipping fixes independently.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with finance systems such as NetSuite, billing, and payment integrations.
• Knowledge of the finance domain, including bank reconciliation and month-end close processes.
