About the Role

You will serve as the statutory Compliance Officer for Rapyd Colombia and manage compliance operations for Colombia and an additional core LATAM country. You will advise and mentor regional compliance personnel, design and refine compliance frameworks, liaise with Colombian and Panamanian supervisory authorities, support risk assessments and control frameworks, and review and implement policies and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or legal advisory.
• Deep understanding of fintech regulations, FATF standards, and AML requirements.
• Strong expertise in compliance management frameworks, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Deep knowledge of Colombian regulations, including SAGRILAFT and PTEE.
• Proven experience and knowledge of regulations in one additional core LATAM country.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support and mentor local compliance team members across the region.
• Design and refine compliance frameworks for local regulators and a cross-border fintech environment.
• Serve as the appointed Compliance Officer for Rapyd Colombia.
• Lead the implementation and evolution of SAGRILAFT and PTEE.
• Act as the primary liaison with the Superintendencia de Sociedades and other supervisory authorities in Colombia and Panama.
• Support complex compliance risk assessments and identify systemic trends affecting the LATAM portfolio.
• Support the maintenance of the Functional Control framework and operational and technological risk mitigation strategies.
• Support policy and documentation reviews and implementation with relevant teams.
