What you will do

• Assess building designs against the National Construction Code (NCC) and Building Code of Australia (BCA).
• Prepare compliance reports and liaise with clients regarding regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to implement and upgrade fire safety measures.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progression and completion.
• Develop Performance Solution design reports for non-fire related performance solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior building surveyors.

Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Postgraduate qualification in Building Surveying or a similar field.
• Current registration as a Level 1 or Level 2 building surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of the performance requirements of the BCA.
• Familiarity with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team.
