Salary: $175,000 – $180,000 plus a 15% bonus

What you will do

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure features for web and backend applications using Angular, Node, and .NET.
• Lead architectural decisions and define the technical roadmap for the platform to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Take ownership of production operations, including monitoring and ensuring SLA adherence for consumer-facing systems.
• Research and prototype new technologies and tools to enhance platform capabilities.
• Mentor engineers across all levels, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers and QA in an agile environment to deliver successful software releases.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of proven success in software development with a strong emphasis on .NET and web technologies.
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, distributed enterprise-level systems.
• In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Must be based in the United States (as indicated by US-specific benefits and location).

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the EdTech sector or related educational technology.
• Experience in payments, financial services, or e-commerce development.
• High proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular for user-centric front-end solutions.
• Deep knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP services and cloud-native architectures.
• Success in developing and optimizing large-scale SaaS platforms.
