What you will do

• Set the analytical vision and roadmap for User Growth data science, aligning work with company priorities.
• Lead and grow a team of 6-10 data scientists, fostering a culture of professional growth and intellectual rigor.
• Own the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments to optimize user acquisition and retention.
• Develop and maintain user growth forecasting systems in collaboration with Finance and Product teams.
• Drive business intelligence strategy, including the metrics layer and self-serve dashboards.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Proven experience using data science and analytics to solve complex product and business problems.
• Experience managing data science teams of 5 or more people.
• Graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Applied industry experience with causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning models.
• Strong command of SQL, Python or R, and modern data/analytics engineering ecosystems.
• Location: Must be based in New York, NY
