What you will do

• Produce clear and inspiring donor-centered copy, translating complex science into lay language.
• Draft gift acknowledgments and correspondence for senior leaders and principal investigators.
• Create stewardship reports conveying scientific progress and impact.
• Develop materials for prospect visits and events, including biographies and invitations.
• Manage multiple writing assignments, tracking drafts, revisions, and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or life sciences.
• 4+ years of professional writing experience in development, nonprofit, or science communications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with scientific research of the hirify.global and the Boston biomedical ecosystem.
• Must be based in Cambridge, MA; the Broad will not provide sponsorship for this position.
