Staff Geologist I

What you will do

• Assist with field investigations, including soil and rock sampling, drilling oversight, and groundwater monitoring.
• Collect and interpret geologic and environmental data using field observations, measurements, and testing.
• Prepare logs, maps, and figures to support technical reports.
• Perform data analysis and assist in drafting reports, proposals, and recommendations.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols in field and lab settings.
• Maintain accurate field records and documentation; support senior staff on geologic hazards and site conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork with some heavy lifting.
• Proficient with MS Office suite of products.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to travel 90% of the time.
