TL;DR

Field Operation Technician (Underground Discovery): Operating underground discovery tools and sensors to identify subsurface assets with an accent on field data collection and hardware operation. Focus on resolving on-site operational issues, utilizing GPR and seismic sensors, and ensuring high accuracy in asset mapping.

Location: Across US Metros. Must be available for 100% domestic travel across the US.

Salary: $33 - 35/hr + OT

What you will do

• Operate patented underground discovery tools, carts, and drones.
• Identify underground assets using advanced sensors including Electromagnetic, magnetic, metal, GPR, and seismic.
• Identify and resolve operational issues on-site in coordination with R&D and operation managers.
• Document interactions, site information, and operation reports in organizational software.

Requirements

• 100% domestic travel across the US is required.
• Physical ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day and lift 20-40 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• English: C1 level required (mandatory).
• 2+ years of experience in field operations, preferably within a startup environment.
• Background in earth sciences, engineering, construction, or utility mapping.

Nice to have

• OSHA 10 Certificate.
• FAA part 107 drone pilot certification.
• Experience in transportation, utilities, and construction industries.
