What you will do

• Design and optimize scalable ETL pipelines for structured and semi-structured data supporting growth and publishing metrics.
• Implement robust data models that capture a complete ecosystem view of in-game and out-of-game experiences.
• Architect high-performance data solutions and automate workflows to enhance processing efficiency.
• Mentor data engineers across all levels, establishing technical best practices and fostering growth.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and analysts to deliver better player experiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering and tech-focused publishing or marketing fields.
• Strong expertise in Python, GoLang, Spark, Scala, SQL, Airflow, and dbt.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and Databricks.
• Experience designing scalable data models for large datasets across multiple teams.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to mentor other engineers and work cross-functionally.

• Experience in the gaming industry or with large consumer platforms.
• Track record of leading data modernization or transformation initiatives in complex environments.
• Experience designing semantic layers or standardized business metric frameworks.
