What you will do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from various data sources.
• Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes using Snowflake and Databricks/Spark.
• Implement tenant data security and develop semantic data models for AI optimization.
• Create analytical tools for data modeling and visualization using Looker.
• Automate manual processes and monitor data quality through custom scripting.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers in an Agile SDLC environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data pipelines, or analytics systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python within a full SDLC/production deployment environment.
• Experience with modern scalable data lakes, warehouses, and workflow management tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Barcelona, Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Looker, or Fivetran.
• Experience with Databricks or Spark-based suites.
• Experience in the Financial Industry.
