What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical vision for the Detection & Deception workstream from design to shipment.
• Develop production-grade code in Go, Rust, or Python to create and deploy honeytokens and honeypots.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate ambiguous goals into concrete technical roadmaps and MVPs.
• Lead technical design reviews and set high standards for code quality and operational discipline.
• Mentor fellow engineers and build architectural frameworks that enable team success.
• Perform product research and implement detection logic for Tripwires and Rapid Response features.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States
• Expert-level proficiency in large-scale Python software development.
• Deep experience with network security, including reconnaissance, lateral movement, and protocols like SMB and WMI.
• Strong knowledge of Windows internals and Active Directory authentication.
• Minimum 4 years of experience building offensive or defensive security solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable experience.

Nice to have

• OSCP, GCWN, or equivalent security certifications.
• Experience in red teaming, penetration testing, or incident response.
• Proficiency with Docker, containerization, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with identity services such as Entra ID or Okta.
• Experience with relational (Postgres) or graph (Neo4j) databases.
