Salesforce Software Engineer - Integration Engineering SMTS (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure fullstack applications.
• Integrate new customers’ data sources with internal platforms and enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain Salesforce integrations using Apex, Agentforce, APIs, flows, and custom actions.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and improve architecture and development practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technology and framework evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of software development experience, including at least 4 years in fullstack development.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration and security, including permission sets, external credentials, and field-level security.
• Strong experience with OAuth 2.0, Bearer token authorization, dynamic API calls, REST integrations, and enterprise systems such as Snowflake or Workday.
• Backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, Python and Django, or Node.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, REST APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, Salesforce deployment pipelines, Git, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Salesforce development experience with Apex, Visualforce, Agentforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, or SOSL.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as LWC, React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience in leadership or mentoring roles.
