Senior AI Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: San Mateo, California, United States; hybrid attendance 2–3 days per week

Salary: $250,000–$350,000 base annually plus equity

What you will do

• Build production AI agents with planning, reasoning, retrieval, and decision-making capabilities.
• Develop RAG pipelines, vector search, and knowledge graph systems.
• Improve agent quality through evaluations and hallucination mitigation.
• Implement production monitoring for reliable AI systems.
• Work across Python, LLMs, distributed systems, and backend infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and backend engineering skills.
• Experience shipping production AI agents, RAG systems, coding agents, or LLM-powered products.
• Experience building reliable AI systems used by real customers.
