Node.js Backend Developer (Node.js)

Location: Warsaw, Poland. On-site role requiring attendance at the office 4 days per week.

Salary: Up to 24,000 PLN/month (+VAT), depending on seniority.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services.
• Work within a microservices architecture across maintenance work and greenfield projects.
• Optimize, maintain, and continuously improve existing systems while building new features.
• Own solutions from concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA specialists, and developers to improve the user experience.

Requirements

• Proven software engineering experience with a history of impactful contributions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to clean, efficient code.
• Proficiency in system design and architectural decision-making.
• Experience or proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS, microservices, and integrations.
• Ability to work with both greenfield and legacy systems.
• Confident English communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts.
• Collaborative approach, willingness to discuss difficult problems, ask questions, challenge ideas respectfully, and apply critical thinking.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, growing startup environment.
