Solution Architect (Agentic AI): Designing a scalable, low-latency content platform and agentic layer for a global e-commerce leader with an accent on Agentic AI workflows, RAG patterns, and distributed systems. Focus on defining target architecture, implementing MCP tooling, and ensuring high performance and reliability in an enterprise environment.

Location: Remote from Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, or Poland. Must be comfortable working on a flexible calendar aligned with US business hours (PST / Central US) and be ready for travel to the US.

What you will do

• Design system architecture using C4 diagrams and maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Shape the agentic layer by designing AI-driven workflows and defining agent runtimes.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and prototyping of critical code paths.
• Collaborate with client architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable systems.
• Guide engineering teams to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and high engineering standards.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a software architect and hands-on engineer for large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience building AI tools and platforms from architecture through to implementation.
• Strong expertise in the Java ecosystem and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Experience producing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and ADRs.
• English: B2+ proficiency required.
• Location: Must be based in Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, or Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI systems engineering, MCP tooling, and RAG pipelines for enterprise.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript as a secondary stack.
• Experience with cloud-native design (AWS or Azure) and CMS/knowledge-management platforms.
• Experience working within multi-team governance processes in enterprise environments.
