Location: Must be based in Kraków, Poland (Hybrid: primarily office-based with occasional remote work)

What you will do

• Develop Android features for a flagship mobile application used by millions of customers.
• Design and implement real-time video streaming features using Android media frameworks, including HLS/RTSP protocols.
• Build responsive and performant UIs following Material Design guidelines and modern Android best practices.
• Collaborate throughout the entire project life cycle with iOS engineers, backend teams, QA, and product managers.
• Research and apply new Android technologies and methodologies to solve challenging project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Android Studio and Android SDK.
• Experience with modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, MVP).
• Understanding of asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow, and experience with RESTful APIs.
• Must be located in or be able to work from the Kraków office.

Nice to have

• Experience with video streaming using MediaCodec, HLS/RTSP/WebRTC, or custom media implementations.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose for declarative UI development.
• Knowledge of Android NDK/JNI for native code integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android applications.
• Familiarity with iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI, Objective C).
