What you will do

• Build, enhance and support batch and streaming data pipelines on the Lakehouse and AI data platform.
• Develop raw, refined and curated datasets to support analytics, reporting and AI use cases.
• Apply sound data modelling principles to represent business entities and historical change accurately.
• Implement controls to validate completeness, accuracy and consistency of data across pipelines.
• Build reusable tooling and framework components to improve platform delivery and operational support.
• Collaborate with platform teams and data consumers to deliver scalable data products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline with strong quantitative skills.
• Strong hands-on programming experience in Python or Java.
• Good working knowledge of SQL, including troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Experience working with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of common data formats including JSON, Avro and Parquet.
• Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals, version control, and CI/CD practices.
