is a leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia expanding into a comprehensive finance super app to help people plan, save, and grow their money.
What you will do
- Lead zero-to-one strategic projects for the finance super app expansion.
- Manage licensing, market entry, partner acquisition, and office setup.
- Conduct research on target markets, competitors, regulations, and business models.
- Translate founder-level ideas into structured plans, timelines, and actionable next steps.
- Collaborate across product, legal, compliance, finance, and operations teams.
- Develop operating documents, memos, and execution rhythms to solve urgent business problems.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Japan and able to work from the Tokyo office 3+ days per week
- English: Strong communication skills required (main working language)
- High ownership, strong writing skills, and sharp business judgment.
- Ability to learn new industries and regulations quickly.
- Capability to turn messy inputs into clear, executable plans.
- Experience in startups, consulting, fintech, or strategy is a strong advantage.
